I love a lot of things about this post. First is the fact that I’ve finally cleaned up my hair care routine. I’ve been greenifying most aspects of my life and I was slow on the hair portion of it. Second is the fact that I’ve found such lovely natural hair care items that are locally made in Wisconsin. Natural and local? Win!

Meet Qet Botanicals of Cross Plains, Wisconsin. They were so kind to let me test out a variety of their products and I can’t wait to visit their cute boutique and grab some more essentials. Below are 3 of the products that I’ve incorporated into my regular hair routine.

Qet Botanicals Natural Sea Spray ($19) – I’m a big fan of sea salt sprays and I love that this one doesn’t make your hair feel crunchy or dry, but instead it feels very nourished and soft, with a beachy, voluminous texture. Qet formulates their Sea Spray with Himalayan pink salt, lavender and botanical oils. The scent is superior, too.

Qet Botanicals Lavender Powder Dry Shampoo ($19) – Dry shampoo is my savior and I try to get by with dry shampoo at least twice a week in order to help my hair continue to grow and strengthen. At first I was perpelxed by the packaging. The open jar didn’t seem that conducive to a shampoo powder. But the directions suggest that you apply it with a brush and work it into roots. I’ve gotta say this has been an eye-opener for me. It turns out that applying dry shampoo with a brush might be the best method. Pro tip: apply it into roots before you go to bed. That way you wake up with refreshed hair, and the slight scent of lavender as you drift off to sleep is an added bonus.

Qet Botanicals Natural Shine Serum ($24) – Dry ends are a perpetual problem for my hair, so serums and oils have long been my product of choice to help add shine and moisture. Qet’s Natural Shine Serum combines coconut oil with broccoli seed oil for light, non-greasy moisture that penetrates the hair shaft.

I highly recommend trying any of the products above, but if you’re interested in trying out a sample kit you can get 15% off and free shipping with code MERRYKITMAS at checkout. Be sure to check out the Hair Kit.

Products featured above were provided for my testing and review by Qet Botanicals. Opinions are my own. Thanks for reading!
