An Insider's Guide to

Walk down a 300-year old cobblestone street with a fresh pastry. Sip wine next to rows of colorful houses. Feel the sun on your skin as you float through one of the city's many canals.

These are just a few of the things that made me fall in love with Copenhagen, and I'm sharing all my favorite spots and experiences so you can do the same.

COPENHAGEN

WELCOME TO COPENHAGEN

There's an inevitable moment when traveling that you end up overwhelmed and standing in the middle of a busy street fighting about where to get lunch. It's in those moments that I want to grab a local by the shoulders and beg them to disclose all the places and spaces they cherish the most.

My hope for this guidebook is to give you exactly that.

I relocated to Copenhagen in April of 2018, and over the past 3 years, I've enjoyed life in the heart of the city. Surrounded by the canals, great food, and sunbathing Danes.

This guide aims to provide the practical advice and local perspective you need to plan a memorable trip full of authentic experiences.

An Insider's Guide to Copenhagen has everything from well-organized lists, packing tips, and language cheat sheets, to an interactive map that will help you effortlessly plan out each day. I hope you end up loving this place as much as I do.

COVID Restrictions in Denmark

Denmark 's has a vaccination rate nearing 85% fully vaccinated as of October 1, 2021. Borders are currently open to fully vaccinated tourists from the EU, Schengen, and 13 OECD countries (which includes the UK and USA).

All COVID restrictions in Denmark were lifted on September 15, 2021. There is free testing for everyone, including tourists. This can be done at testing tents/sites throughout the country.

I would recommend getting updates on this official Danish website as your trip nears and always booking refundable tickets/lodging in case things change.

"It transformed our entire trip."

Whenever we travel, we take the time to organize everything we're interested in doing or seeing into an interactive Google map. And I wanted to do the same for you.

An Insider's Guide to Copenhagen includes access to my customized map, which you can use for planning your trip, selecting lodging, or pulling up throughout your visit when deciding what to do or checking to see what's nearby. You'll get instant access after your purchase.
