I just got back from a trip to visit family in the US and, as usual, I couldn’t resist a little shopping while I was there. I appreciate buying things when I’m back in the US, mostly because I can’t get some of my favorite products and brands here in Denmark. Nothing in this post is sponsored — these are all things I truly love that earned a *very limited spot* in my bag on the way back. However, I provided referral codes where I could!

Misc.

Esther Perel “Where Do We Begin” Card Game – You know I love question-type card games (I’ve been recommending these Best Self Co. cards for years!), so I couldn’t say no when one of my favorite podcasts launched a question-focused card game. It’s lovely and the quality is really nice! I can tell we’ll have fun with these for many trips and date nights to come.

Trader Joe’s Sriracha Sprinkle Seasoning – We’re so obsessed with Sriracha that we served it at our wedding. Obviously, I couldn’t pass up Trader Joe’s “Sriracha Sprinkle” seasoning. I’ve only sampled it, but so far very impressed! I’m looking forward to trying it on the rim of a spicy margarita.

Apparel

Rothy’s Lace Up Sneakers – I love Rothy’s because they are comfortable, made from recycled plastic that is removed from the ocean, and can be machine washed! I’ve had many pairs of them over the years and was excited to try their Lace Up Sneakers for a fun summer shoe. I ended up wearing these during a full day at Mall of America and walked over 30K steps! Super comfortable, cute, and versatile. Use my code for $20 off + Free Shipping on your first purchase.

Vuori Miles Jogger – Being short and curvy, I have SUCH a hard time finding pants that fit great — especially athletic-type pants. These ones are absolute PERFECTION. I’m 5’3, and these hit right at my ankle. The fabric is fantastic (kind of a wind-pant material, but soft and not noisy), and they fit through my waist, hips, and thighs — an actual miracle!!!!! I already regret not buying additional pairs.

Left on Friday Bikini – I needed a new bikini and wanted to replace an old one that I loved the fit/style of. I found a great match in this bikini from Left on Friday. Although it’s a bit expensive, I can tell it’s a suit I’ll wear for years to come. I got the Hi Dive Top and the Hi Hi Bottoms, both in Sweet Chili Heat, but they come in a variety of colors. I’d say that this brand runs a little on the smaller side and would suggest sizing up.

Universal Thread (Target) Jumpsuit – This jumpsuit caught my eye when walking through Target, and I couldn’t say no. The fabric is very soft with a slightly distressed finish, and it’s just such a comfortable fit! The little cutout on the back adds a fun, summery touch, and although it’s meant to be cropped, it looks perfectly full-length with a slight crop on me (I’m 5’3″).

Skincare

Osmia Body Mousse – I swear by the high-quality bar soaps from Osmia Organics, and love using them in the shower with these exoliating gloves (seriously….a total gamechanger when it comes to glowing skin!). This time I also brought home one of my long-time favorites…their Rosemary Body Mousse. Grab the gloves, soap,  + mousse, and prepare for a glowy skin summer!

Naked & Thriving Renew Resurfacing Night Serum – This brand is new to me, but after seeing a couple of reviews of the resurfacing night serum, I was really curious to try it. I’ve been using it for almost 3 weeks and have been impressed with how my skin looks when I wake up after using it!

Makeup

Tarte Tinted Hydrator – I’ve been a longtime fan of BareMinerals Complexion Rescue and have used it for nearly a decade! I’m not sure I’ve entirely abandoned it because it’s just that good, but I was curious about Tarte’s Tinted Hydrator and had to try it! It looks great and does wonderful things to your skin, but I wish it had SPF. Currently, I layer it with a facial SPF but really appreciate when my tinted moisturizer has the SPF built in.

Glossier Cloud Paint in Beam – I’ll admit I got influenced via Instagram on this one, but I’m glad I did! I find that a lot of cream/liquid blushes tend to stick to the skin too much, but this one blends perfectly and lasts all day. Beam is a fresh, punchy peach that looks great with a summer glow.

Ilia Mascara – This has been my absolute go-to mascara for a couple of years, and I always bring a tube (or two!) back when I visit the U.S. I’ve never used a mascara that does such a great job of adding length and definition, and love that it has ingredients to help promote growth and strength. I truly notice such a difference in my lashes with this mascara!
