You know those books that aren’t just fun to read but actually have an impact on you? Like you end up highlighting passages and flagging pages and flipping back through them regularly to reference something and thinking about them randomly throughout your day every day? Those are the books that change your life.
I’ve been blessed to come across several of these books so far in life, and the three I want to share with you today are the ones that have had the biggest impact on my life recently. The thing I love about each of these books is that although they each focus on a specific topic, they each have the ability to impact multiple areas of your life. I promise you’ll find yourself thinking about each one of these over and over and over again throughout even the most typical and mundane days.
So, if you are looking for books to read in 2022, these are the three that I most hope make it onto your list. Happy reading, m’friend.
If you have any sort of health or wellness goals this year, you’ve gotta read this book! It’s a fast read (the second half is all recipes!) and will completely change the way you approach nutrition, fitness, aging, skincare + more. The basic concept is that drinking water is literally the fastest, most effective, and most affordable way to drastically improve your health (along with increasing your energy, helping you age slower, and other great tidbits. Before you start working out, change your diet, or buy expensive skincare — invest in this book instead! Truly if I could encourage you to read just one book this year…this would be it.
If reducing your screen time, feeling less anxious, or trying to be more present are goals you have this year, I think you’ll love this book and find its approach really practical and easy to apply to your life. I’m already implementing so many of his methods and have felt the difference almost immediately. Plus, it’s interesting! I loved the chapters about Amish and Abraham Lincoln.
As I’m sure you know, reaching your goals usually involves new routines or habits performed consistently. But developing new habits as an adult can be such a struggle! There’s a good reason for that. If you want to learn more about how your brain works and how you can make it easier to create strong, healthy habits then this is the book for you. This is the method I used to create a morning routine and workout that I love and do regularly without complaint!
There ya have it! Three of the best books I have read recently that I truly believe will have a massive impact on you if you read them. All three of them are easy and entertaining — nothing to dense or science-y, but every page of each of these books is packed with so much goodness!

Oh! I have Quench… and I have like 3 books by Cal Newport in my Amazon “saved for later” cart – I guess this is my sign to order one! Atomic Habits is on my list as well; and it’ll probably go right along with your Thyme Transformation course!
