The other day I asked what shows you’ve been watching during coronavirus lockdown or quarantine. I got a lot of responses via Instagram Story and thought it would be nice to just round them up in a place where people can easily view the entire list. There are, of course, tons of great shows out there that aren’t on this list, this list is a small representation of the shows my audience is turning to during this crisis. My audience is mostly made up of women between the ages of 25-38 located in the US….so if you share interests with that demographic this list might be particularly helpful.

To make it onto the list the show had to be recommended more than once and had to have a score of at least 6.0 on IMDB (sorry, I’m such a purist). The list below is hyperlinked, so you can click on the title to visit the show’s IMDB page to read a full synopsis and learn more about it. Most of these shows are available on various platforms, and given the fact that their availability is constantly changing and my audience is international (some things on Netflix in Europe aren’t available in the US and vice versa), it didn’t make sense to list streaming platforms.

However, I did mention if shows were a “Netflix Original”, meaning they were produced by Netflix (or in some cases picked up or acquired for international redistribution). This means that they are likely available on that platform regardless of the country you are in, but this also is not always 100% accurate. Also, some shows on the list could be available on Netflix, but aren’t an “original” so haven’t been identified. For the most part, you’ll have to Google the show you’re interested in to determine where to watch or stream it. Anyways, I hope this helps give you some suggestions for things to watch while you stay home and help flatten the curve.
