We’ve been putting homemade maple whipped cream on top of everything this fall! Pure maple syrup is sweet, but also has beneficial vitamins and minerals in it. Cinnamon has a lot of anti-inflammatory health benefits. And cream? We’ll call that healthy fat:) I like putting this on top of a cup of coffee that has some vanilla MCT oil along with Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides stirred in.
Start with a cup of hot coffee. Add 1 tsp MCT Oil (I use a vanilla one from Whole Foods) and 1-2 scoops of plain Collagen Peptides or try one of their Collagen Creamers (I love the coconut one). Mix well by hand or with a frother. Then, make the whipped cream using the steps below:
INGREDIENTS
1/2 TSP 100% Pure Maple Syrup
1-2 tbsp whipping cream
Dash of cinnamon
DIRECTION
Whip it (I use a tiny hand frother from Ikea) until it thickens and then top with more cinnamon
