Collagen Peptides have become such a part of my routine that I don’t really know what I would do without them! I have tried a lot of the products from Vital Proteins, my favorites are just the classic, unflavored Collagen Peptides (you can put them into pretty much anything) but I am also a huge fan of the Lavender Lemon Beauty Water!
This morning I mixed up a quick smoothie bowl, and thought I’d share the recipe in case you’re looking for a fun breakfast option.
1/2 cup frozen mango
1/2 cup frozen blackberries
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides
Put the 4 ingredients above into a NutriBullet or blender and blend until smooth. You want it to be a little thicker than a smoothie, so if it gets too thin add an ice cube or two until it gets to a thicker consistency. Pour it into a bowl and top with granola, dark chocolate nibs and shaved coconut. This was my first time eating shaved coconut on a smoothie bowl, and I think it was my favorite part! The coconut gets kind of frozen on top of the frozen fruit mixture, and adds this great crunch with a burst of coconut flavor!
