Good Jams No. 12

Good Jams No. 12 - a hand-picked collection of songs to add to your fall Spotify playlist | October 2017
Over the summer I passed the 4-year anniversary of my Good Jams blog feature! I’ve been doing them mostly seasonally over the past four years, but am going to try to do them more regularly moving forward. To help keep the whole thing more organized I’ve created one master playlist on Spotify, titled Thyme is Honey Good Jams, that you can follow along with (that way you know when I add new music), and hopefully it will make it more fun to head over and listen to these playlist. This way, rather than one short playlist that only has 6 songs, I’ll just add the 6 new songs to this master playlist and that way you can listen to all of my picks, past and present, if you’re bored enough 🙂 Here are some songs that were on repeat over this past summer and into the fall.

Shot Down by Khalid – This guy is on a roll. Young, Dumb and Broke was on my workout playlist most of the summer and Location is another favorite.

If U Stayed by ZZ Ward – First fell in love with ZZ Ward’s Put the Gun Down a few years ago, and this song is my favorite off her recent album.

Lou Lou by Albin Lee Meldau – We discovered this song one night during Tiny Desk Concerts binge on YouTube (totally worth your time to watch/listen to. You’ll fall in love with the guy).

The Moon Asked the Crow by CocoRosie – This is one from my mid-summer playlist. They have  unique sound that I couldn’t pass up.

Candi by General B and the Wiz – I feel pretty lucky to say that I went to the same college as most General B and the Wiz. Their new album dropped this summer and I blasted this one with the sunroof open and the windows down.

On + Off  by Maggie Rogers – One of the cutest (and most appreciated) things my husband does for me is send me artists/songs that he thinks I’ll like. This is one that he sent along recently and I definitely love it.

What have you been listening to recently? Tell me here or message it to me on Spotify 🙂
