I’ve had several Lush products in my lineup for a few years (their Sea Spray and Massage Bars are pretty amazing) but was beyond thrilled when I heard they were planning to open a shop in my ‘hood. Madison recently got it’s first Lush (located in the newly renovated Hilldale Mall) and I finally stopped in for a little shopping.

I went in looking for shampoo that would pack a punch in the moisture department, and a friendly Lush employee directed me to Fairly Traded Honey ($29.95). She had me at honey, but the scent was pretty great, too. She suggested pairing it with their Retread Conditioner ($29.95), which has a blend of olive, jojoba and avocado oils for deep conditioning. She listened to me complain about how my scalp had been sunburned the weekend prior and was now peeling (the worst) and suggested that I spend the evening with my scalp covered in their Superbalm Scalp Treatment ($19.95). What a wise woman. I ended up sleeping with it slathered in my hair (super sexy. my husband gives this two thumbs up) and the next day it was barely noticeable. I also settled on a Honey Trap Lip Balm ($7.25) after sniffing the various options. Honey and melted white chocolate. Need I say more?
