Did you see my recent post about feeding your dog coconut oil? Walter loves it, and I attribute his very clean (and never brushed) teeth to the daily ritual. If you’re a busy dog parent you might not have time to make coconut oil treats for your dog, and that’s understandable! Your dog might also prefer getting their coconut oil with a bit more crunch. I knew that something containing coconut oil was sure to be a hit, and I was right. Walter (find him on instagram #WalterBtheJRT) can be picky when it comes to snacks (there are certain ones he’ll just go hide in the basement or a laundry basket for me to find and throw away later) but definitely not these. One flavor contains lamb, purple carrots, chia seeds and coconut oil, while another has salmon, chia seeds, coconut oil and spinach. He seems to enjoy them both equally and I love knowing that he’s getting lots of good nutrients in his snacks.
