I want your brunch game to be on point this spring. Nothing really makes a brunch like the cocktails and having a pitcher of them pre-mixed is a great way to serve your guests and have a great time! You could totally go with Bloody Mary’s or Mimosas (I’m sure no one will complain), but you could also mix things up with this riff on a classic. The recipe below for this mango tequila sunrise is for one cocktail, but it would be super easy to mix the tequila and mango ahead of time and then have your guests add their sunrise (cherry syrup). And let’s get real, these cocktails would also be perfect for a BBQ.
Mango Tequila Sunrise
makes 1 cocktail
1 1/2 oz. tequila blanco (we used Hornito’s)
1/2 C mango nectar (we used Langer’s)
1-2 tsp. grenadine or cherry syrup
maraschino cherries, to garnish
Fill a tumbler glass with ice. Stir together ice, tequila and mango nectar. Gently pour cherry syrup down the edge of the glass (it will float to the bottom). Garnish with a cherry and a straw. Enjoy!
