A few years ago it seemed like everyone (including myself) was investing in juicers and whipping up cups of fresh juice. Personally, I love fresh juice and I know that in the past few years I have kept myself healthier and kicked many-a-cold thanks to the power of a fresh glass of juice. So what’s with the current trend of dried juices? Are they healthy? Should you drink one?
For the record, I still have my juicer and I love using it on occasion, but on a daily basis I rely on dried green juice in the form of GREENS ($55 retail, $33 as a loyal customer). They are a great alternative if you don’t want to spend the money on a juicer (and all that organic produce) or if you just don’t have the time to juice every day.
A glass of GREENS has been part of my daily routine for almost a year and I couldn’t imagine going without it! A single glass of Greens contains 8 servings of fruits & vegetables that help detoxify, alkalize and energize your body while also providing probiotic support to keep your system regular and toxins moving out. My favorite thing about drinking a dried green juice is the fact that I know it is helping me have a cleaner + happier body. This might sound funny, but when my body is full of “bad stuff” (after a long vacation with too many restaurant meals or a long night of drinking) my GREENS taste weird. I don’t have a good explanation for this other than to say that after a day or two of restoring my body with GREENS they go back to tasting amazing. Funny how that works, eh?
GREENS provide vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients and enzymes that you need for your best health. In a nutshell: drinking one glass of dried green juice each day is a very simple step you can take to living a healthier, happier and more fulfilling life. Not only does it help you stay healthy, but the 38 herbs and superfoods in this one glass will help you feel less bloated, more energized and helps curve your cravings for things like processed sugar or carbs.
GREENS come in a powdered form that you can mix into anything—-from a bottle of water, to a smoothie or a yogurt parfait. My secret ingredient is to add 2 ounces of organic pomegranate juice! I add 2 ounces to a large glass, then add 2 scoops of BERRY GREENS and stir. I then add about 8 ounces of water to this mixture. It has a great flavor and consistency and is very pleasant to drink. I recommend giving this method a try if you’re new to dried green juice!
So, what changes have I seen in the past year with GREENS and why do I love them so much? First and foremost I think that incorporating greens during my hair regrowth helped the Hair, Skin and Nail Complex give me incredible results in just one month. After 2 or 3 months on greens I started to realize that my energy and mood throughout the day was better and that my weight stayed more consistent on a weekly basis. I also love taking GREENS with me when I’m traveling, when I might not be getting enough vegetables, fruit or fiber in my diet. Long-term benefits have been increased energy, healthier skin, hair, nails and less illness than in previous years.
